Na druhé místo se za Coldplay zařadila animovaná kapela Gorillaz s "Demon Days", následována "Employment" od Kaiser Chiefs a "Don't Believe the Truth" od Oasis.
Skladby "The Importance of Being Idle" (Oasis), "Fix You" (Coldplay) a "I Predict A Riot" byly vyhlášeny singly roku.

Mozna by stalo za to napsat, ze dle ctenaru Q a posluchacu bylo poradi docela jine :o) Cituji: "Coldplay can fuck off. The people have spoken and we´ve won." Koho cituji si tipněte sami :o) Jen chci rict, ze poradny server by mohl psat podrobneji o ruznych cenach, nez okopirovat cast textu ze zahranicniho serveru. A stejne to udelal i Musicserver.
